Thinking Outside the Box

Recent innovations from the Morris Township Republicans include:

• Free Summer Concerts and Family Movie Nights at the new Gazebo funded entirely by generous private sector donations.
• Innovative, safe and effective Wildlife Management program guided by volunteers, controlling the influx of geese and deer through volunteer efforts at little cost to taxpayers, has become the model for other local towns to follow.
• Development of a Recreation Foundation to solicit private funds to enhance our facilities.
• Creation of a citizen-guided Trails Plan to plan linkages and pathways for hikers and cyclists.
• Volunteer Beautification Committee that spruces up neighborhoods and intersections.
